The Woodroffe High School Council accepts donations on behalf of the school. These donations are tax deductible beyond $25.00 and a tax receipt will be mailed to you. Donations may be directed to a specific area as identified by you (please see below for ideas on where to donate) or will be added to school priorities (also see below).

Donation Ideas:

• Breakfast and Lunch Program - The donation of breakfast items for the breakfast program would be welcome at any time. Large items like: a gently used chest freezer; or items of food like cereal bars, peanut butter, juice boxes, fruit cups, etc; or possible volunteer time in the morning or at lunch. Anything would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Cassandra Douglas for more information: cassandra.douglas@ocdsb.ca.
• Family Studies Program - The donation of any kitchen items would be greatly appreciated, inlcuding: aprons; frying pans/electric skillets; medium and large size pots; stoves; blenders; paint; bulliten boards; knives (and sharpeners); dish racks; burner element replacements; if anyone has a design/talent/interest in home renos, I would love to see if they would be interested in helping out to see how the kitchens could be revamped to be more functional (this is not my strength, and the kitchens are being used more and more by the community, so I thought I would throw out this ususual request to our broader community). • Music Department - The music department would welcome the donation of musical instruments to permit students who do not own their own instruments to participate in the band program. Instruments sought include: flutes, saxaphones, guitars, clarinets and drums. For further information please contact Terry Duncan: terry.duncan@ocdsb.ca.
• Physical Education Department - The physical education department would welcome the donation of funds to purchase exercise equipment and to fund the winning banners for the gymnasium. • School Priorities - Woodroffe High School is working on a huge project to fully renovate the school library and bring it into the 21st Century! The school will be sharing designs soon, however would welcome any financial support to make this dream a reality! The remaining school priorities include functional beautification of existing furniture within the school and enhancing technology throughout.
